All our modules are run from the UK so the start time of a module will vary according to your location….
The UK runs daylight saving time in the summer months. (a 1 hour shift mainly used by countries located a long way North or South where the length of the day varies widely throughout the year…)
Below are examples of timings for different locations:
From the last Sunday in October to the last Saturday in March we work in the UTC+0 time zone (GMT – Greenwich Mean Time).
- A 09.30 start time would therefore be 17.30 in Singapore (UTC+8)… or 15.00 in New Delhi (UTC+5.5).
- A 16.00 start time would be 08.00 in Los Angeles (UTC-8) or 13.00 in New York (UTC-5).
From the last Sunday in March to last Saturday in October we work in the UTC+1 zone (BST – British Summer Time).
- A 09.30 UK start time would therefore be at 16.30 in Singapore (UTC+8) or 14.00 in New Delhi (UTC+5.5).
- A 16.00 start time would be 08.00 in Los Angeles (UTC-7) or 13.00 in New York UTC-4).
Please be aware that different nations can change their clocks on different dates, so although our examples will be correct for most days of the year, there may be differences around the time of the changes if your location switches on a slightly different dates.
