The course is suitable for camera operators, vision controllers or technicians working in studios who need to be able to light simple sets. It looks at the basic skills required to light in the multi-camera environment and is both practical and theoretically based. If you want to start developing your skills with an aim of becoming a lighting designer, this is a good place to start.

N.B. More advanced studio lighting courses can be arranged by request. These can be in the form of a course which looks at how to work of large scale production, plan and light larger sets and lighting budgets, work with effects lighting, manage a lighting team and coping with complex requirements. Such training is specialist and bespoke... it could be delivered as a traditional course or as mentoring for those working on real productions.
